📢 Shared on behalf of St Filumena's Catholic Primary School, Stoke
What a fantastic morning of fundraising and fun! On Sunday 4 October, our school community came together to take part in the Potters ‘Arf Marathon, raising money for Father Hudson's Caritas 💙
We were incredibly proud to see staff, parents and other members of our community take on the challenge, as well as lots of our children and other adults getting involved in the fun run, showing fantastic enthusiasm and determination along the way!
A huge thank you to everyone who took part, supported our runners, cheered them on and donated. Your generosity has been incredible, and we are delighted to have smashed our target and raised over £1,900 so far!
It was wonderful to see so many members of our school community coming together to support such a fantastic cause.
Donations are still open, so if you would like to support our fundraising, there is still time to donate and help us make an even bigger difference: www.justgiving.com/page/stfilscharity2026
Well done to everyone involved! 👏

📢Shared on behalf of Blessed William Howard Catholic High School, Staffordshire
As part of his visit to Bishop Timothy's Pastoral Area, the Apostolic Nuncio, His Excellency Archbishop Miguel Maury Buendía, celebrated Mass at Blessed William Howard Catholic High School in Stafford on Tuesday 8 September, the Feast of the Birthday of the Blessed Virgin Mary. 🙏
Archbishop Bernard, Bishop Timothy and some local clergy concelebrated the Mass. Students from Blessed William Howard, together with other members of the St Gabriel the Archangel CMAT family of schools, including St Anne's, St Austin's, Blessed Mother Teresa and St Patrick's, attended the Mass.
Representatives from the Diocesan Education Service, Kenelm Youth Trust, St Gabriel the Archangel Executive Leadership Team and Directors, Local Governing Bodies and local parish representatives were also in attendance.
After Mass, the Nuncio planted a tree in the school Peace Garden to commemorate the visit. 🌳 This was very much in keeping with the spirit of September, working and praying for the Care of Creation.

🌟 Central Support Team Conference 2026
Our Central Support Team came together at Yarnfield Park for a day of prayer, reflection, collaboration and learning, including Mass led by Fr Julian Green. 🙏
A great opportunity to reflect on our shared mission, our ambitions for St Gabriel the Archangel CMAT and our lens of ‘Questioning Minds’ as we consider how we can continue to support our schools and communities.
Starting the new academic year off to a great start!

🌿 Congratulations to Bishop Milner Catholic College, St Teresa's Catholic Primary Academy, St Mary's Catholic Primary School, and SS Mary & John Catholic Primary Academy on achieving the LiveSimply Award!
We're delighted to celebrate our Region 3 schools receiving this wonderful recognition. The LiveSimply Award celebrates their commitment to living simply, caring for creation, and standing in solidarity with others through the values of Catholic Social Teaching.
We love this joyful photo of the pupils from St Mary's Catholic Primary School, perfectly capturing the excitement of celebrating this well-deserved achievement. Congratulations to all the pupils, staff and wider school communities! 💚
